Morning — Èze
Start in Èze, the medieval village clinging to a peak above the sea. Climb to the Jardin Exotique d'Èze for the view, and breathe in the perfume at Fragonard.
Midday — Monaco
Drop down to Monaco for the Casino square, Port Hercule and lunch with a view. Even a couple of hours captures the principality's glamour.
Afternoon — Menton
Continue to Menton, the gentle "pearl of France" on the Italian border — pastel old town, lemon groves and serene gardens like the Serre de la Madone.
